In Shawnee Mission we work in partnership with families to support students in all aspects of their lives. Our community is working strategically to foster an environment in which students understand the importance of healthy bodies as well as healthy minds.

We offer many resources for our students and family members that include information on nutrition from our Food Services department to support from school nurses in our Health Services department.

There are many ways to be engaged and involved in a child’s educational experience, including serving as a volunteer, a member of the school site council, or becoming involved with Parent Teacher Association (PTA). We look forward to connecting with students and families throughout the educational journey.
