2025-26 IWMS Volunteer Service Award

Due to the unfortunate pause of the President’s Volunteer Service Award by AmeriCorps, the PTA at Indian Woods will be starting the Indian Woods Volunteer Service Award to continue to recognize those individuals and honors students who demonstrate outstanding service to their community, nation, or abroad.  Volunteer documentation and trackers will be kept the same as PVSA in the hopes that the PVSA will be reinstated in the future.  Volunteer service hours should be tracked during the twelve-month period between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.

All forms must be submitted to the Indian Woods office by April 10, 2026.

2025-26 PTA Citizenship Program

Kansas PTA is proud to sponsor, support and encourage our students in grades 5-12 to write an essay or poem on the selected theme for the Citizenship Writing Program. This theme changes every year and encourages students to think about Citizenship in a broad sense. This is open to all students and all writing abilities.

The 2025-2026 Citizenship theme is “What is kindness and how do I show it?"
